Technology

What: we have had a trip to Lincoln primary for technology this week

So what: I learnt how to do the dishes , bake scones, making badges out of clay and how to make a swirly thingy.

Now what: I'm am looking forward to next year baking and sewing.

Orana wild life park

What: we have had a trip to orana park to learn about communities

So what: I learnt that the leader of the gorilla is called a silver back ( it is a male not a female )

Q: why are they called silver back.

I have been learning a range of winter sports and skills

I have learned to kick the ball with the side of my foot and not the tip.

I need to improve on kicking with the side of my foot with out losing my balance and almost falling over

I think I have done well at giving it a go when I found it hard and giving it my best.

Assembly

What am I trying to improve on not talking to much in line.

I am good at walking in a straight line.

I can be better at volunteering on games and saying stuff

We have been working on an mural for our school with1,2 and 11

I like the nice Aqua sky

I would probably take the birds out of the mural

Writing

Now what what do I still need to work on: I still need to work on my vocabulary and spelling    

What: we are learning to write about a character of our choice 

So what: here is some be kind be specific and be helpful feed back I got from Hailey

 

Co-operative plays

What: we worked together in a group to learn and perform a play for the class 

So what: my character was Tyrone he thought he was so popular and perfect my group worked well together by listing to each other's ideas I tried to make my voice sound very popular

Now what: I need to improve on facial expressions.

Aviation writing

Why did people want to fly

People wanted to fly because they wanted to travel faster. And for fame and money. They also looked at birds and thought why can't we fly like that! 

What did flying look like in the past?

The pieces of the plane would look old , small and rusty. The wings would be made out of metal or cloth. Some of the planes would be painted to show the symbols of the country or the plane. To start the plane normally people would push the plane off.

How has planes changed from the past until the past until the present

In the golden days they didn't fly planes that much but now they do much more.

They didn't go fast as well as they do now. They used planes for war but now they use it more for travling

              Butterflies have a lot patterns,they are very soft , they are very fragile,  

              Beautiful, bright coulorful things I just wish I had wings they are caring 

              MOST loving things you will find on EARTH! My cat bought it inside it is still alive

What : we have been learning to do freestyle and  back stroke and do them with the bord.

So what: I was most successful at freestyle
